Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Tein Basics or VIS Invader Hood?

I'm trying to decide which one to get next, the Tein Basics or the VIS Invader Carbon Fiber Hood... I just want to make sure the hood will look good on red with the TRD kit. The only thing is I have silver rims, and I just want to make sure it would still match good...what are your opinions?

Really? Well damn, looks like I should get the coilovers, where did you get them and how much? Everyone says drop it, but I really want this hood too, this sucks I need more money...

I would drop it first, but I would get a higher quality coil over, like Tanabe or Hochkis. The Basic is Tein's entry level coil over & it doesnt have adjustable dampening, so the ride's gonna be pretty stiff. If you want an entry level coil over, I would go with Tanabe's Sustec Pro SS Type II. The only difference between this coil over & the regular SS is that the Type II doesn't have a helper spring, but you still get adjustable dampening & optinal front pillow mounts.
