Do most people DeBadge a vehicle just for the clean looks?

Or is it more of a way to keep others guessing as to what exactly they are dealing with or under the hood of a car? Maybe a mix of both.

Would you say a DeBadged car is more or less likely to be challenged on the street?

I did it for the looks.

Here is a question by the way.
I used to have a TRD badge on my celica, i debadged it about a week ago and there is still a thin layer of glue left over that i am having real difficulty getting out, i have tried using simple green but that has only helped a little bit, i kno i should use goo gone but idk where to find it. if andybody can tell me where i can find it itll be very appreciated, also if there are any other methods of cleaning off the residue glue i would also like that, thanks a lot fellas. thumbsup

you could always get a blow dryer and heat it up, that way that sticky glue will come off much easier.

I debadged for the clean look. Most people around here don't know what the difference is between a GT and a GTS anyway. Goo Gone works great, and so does "oops".

Yeah, people do it for the clean look. Though, I believe most people that know celicas know what the difference is, but it keeps them guessing when you are in front of them as to what you have (if you dont know to look at the exhaust tip. thumbsup

I took off the toyota emblems in the back and on the front...

I only left the GTS badge... and add a celica fill-in sticker... grin

I did it for the clean look, plus ricers always rev at a GTS

Think it would fade to take off the toyota badge on my red car if I've had it for a little more than a year?
