i just bought some hyper ground wires over the weekend and want to install them, thing is i dont know exactly were the correct points are and stuff. yes i did read the install guide on ground wires but can anyone give a more detailed installation guide. It says to remove the battery as well which i have no clue on how to do it, friends say it will mess up my alarm system or something. I'm not too familiar with the engine bay and i dont wanna spend cash making someone install it for me. Pictures and a detailed explanation would be helpful. thanks

or

Is ur alarm aftermarket kind or just stock?
to uninstall ur battery just take a 10mm socket and unscrew the bolts of the battery tie down and remove the Positive and Negative terminal and yank the battery out.

damn, you need to go back to the store and tell them to give you the dyno. Plus you can make the same ground wires out of 4G amp wires bro..y waste 135 bucks on a 20 bucks project??? you could have use that for Performance, like Intake...Oh yeah tell ur friend he don't know squat...if ur don't want to screw up ur alarm, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS unhook ur battery (negative side, aka the Black wire, aka the side with this sign >> "-" not "+") then ur you won't screw nothing up because it won't short circuit..man i can't tell you how many time i took the battery out..NOTHING will happen to ur alarm bro..nothing happen to mine..Trust me, if you remember to unhook the negative side b4 doing anything electrical you be fine..the ECU will reset everything when you hook it back up.. if you still scare then take the entire battery out..PM me if you still need help..

yea ur friend is full of shit. Now, if you for some reason locked your car, armed the alarm...THEN disconnected the battery you might have a problem. But if you undo the negative terminal you're all set. Just as said above. Personally, I'd return em, that's a lot of cash for something that is over ridden by the ecu.

$135 for a grounding kit. You could have gottan Team Celicas grounding kit for $32 shipped (I think that's the price)

theyre getting pretty crazy with the ground wire kits though, majority uses regular speaker wire style, but if you notice pivot, hyper voltage, and i think one other company are braided. Theres also these kinds out now:
