I have recently put on the WingsWest Body Kit and notice that the exhaust tip is now sitting slightly behind the bumper (exhaust is too short). Will this melt the bumper?
Thanks

it will melt after you drive it for a long time..i even had my stock exhaust on when i first got my WW..but it will be more safe to extend it past the bumper.

i don't think so but again it depends of the quality of the bumper. i have a kaminari body kit on my celica and i have it for over a year now with the factory exhaust. there are no burn marks or melting occuring. i guess i'm jujst lucky. lol

i wouldn't worry too much about it. with a gt or gts there won't be that much heat generated from the exhaust during daily driving. MIGHT be a problem if you take your car to a track day, but most probably not. If you mount a Turbo kit, then you need to worry a bit

I think I the burn mark from exhaust is kinda sporty...shows you know how to man-handle your car, but depends on what color the car is

i think a burn mark looks gay...
and that if you had the right exhaust there wouldnt be any burn mark and your paint wouldnt be fucked up
