Ok, here's 3 snaps of the car I just ran outside and took so -NO- there's nothing special. Just to show how a celica looks with 8,5x19 rims with 235/35 rubber and ca 60mm lowering up front and 70mm rear (measured the car on stock springs, compared to now - so no use trying to argue about how much/little the car is lowered! :-))
damn! i didnt know toyota made 19' inch wheels or unless im stupid and you just customized it :] anyways, it looks sweet man! And i love the tint. Black on black always looks fuggin hard!

Yes, it's a BIG custom job. Had to put on the stickers and everything. Took like...hm...1...maybe even 2...minutes!
The rear windows are tinted, the front side windows (doors) are factory tinted. and, i agree, it looks good
Too many spokes for me, but it looks good. Start thinking about a kit. *Cough* Veilside *Cough*
"everyone" has veilside. no fun. but a kit is coming in summer 2005. along with a full respray and some custom mods. Winter lasts from september to april/may here in norway so no need to look for any pics of the car untill then
I'm in the middle of trying to have mvpmotorsports ship over a seibon invader style Carbon Fiber hood and a RMM front lip. If my budged will allow it, I'm having the RMM front lip made in carbon. that all comes down to IF i can afford it, and if I can get some one to ship over the RMM front lip in the first place (you americans are not easy to deal with... )
If neither a Carbon Fiber hood or the RMM front lip will be available, I'm having the stock hood cut&welded to be like the veilside hood with some hood pins. the front lip will then most probably be from carcept instead. and, as with the RMM front lip, if I can afford it -- mould it in carbon.
The rear will be from carcept. Will cut away the middle part of it, so it'll be like the vizage kit's rear. (www.vizages.com [vizages.com] for pictures of the vizage kit)
It'll have to be customized to fit, as it's not ment for the celica. but that's no problem. got a "glass fiber guy" hooked up
For suspention, if I can afford it: KW coilover kit.
Exhaust is beeing made next week with a 4,5" sticking out from each side (custom job).
Lambo doors would be great, but they're just too over priced to be seriously concidered. If i've got enough money "just lying around", I'll buy them. but most probably cash will be spent on other things instead.
The fenders need to be widened (widened? is that even a word?) 'cause 2,5cm Spacers both front&rear are ordered. (no, i'm not buying wider rims 'cause I've just bought these 19's...). The front fenders will be cut&welded to look like the F1 style fenders (www.aspecmotorsports.com [aspecmotorsports.com] for pictures).
Will remove the antenna compleatly along with some other minor custom touches aswell. interior-wise, I'm aiming for having a custom roll cage made. not functional, just for show.
The car will also get a full re-spray. Will try something different there aswell, but I won't give details because everyone I've told so far thinks I've lost it compleatly when I mention what color it'll be It'll still be black. But a different black
And that's about it...I think I've been doing the math and checked availability of the parts, and people to help with all the custom stuff etc etc so this "set up" is not something i've just dreamed up that I won't be able to pull off either. So...unless something REALLY unforseen happens, I'll be driving a "different" celica next summer. And there won't be any of that total f-up that happened this summer.
and if you're trying to figure out what kind of "look" i'm going for -- it'll be aimed at some kind of "motorsport look".
Sounds like you've got some serious plans for the car... The rims look awesome!!! As for the spoiler, not really my piece of pie... but it's YOUR car and I'm sure it'll end up looking nice.
