Cost of professional painted console #200351 Jun 17, 11:46am Joined: May 2004 Posts: 10 Claremore,Oklahoma Jeremy22 Member 2000 Toyota Celica GT Jeremy22 Member 2000 Toyota Celica GT Joined: May 2004 Posts: 10 Claremore,Oklahoma Just got back from a local bodyshop and they charged me $192 to paint the center console and the piece around the odemoter and the ac buttons.Is that price fair or did I get ripped off?

Its a pain to sand though =/ btw if i wanna redo my center console how should i go about removing the old paint?

Took maybe 20 mins. for me. A friend was charged $60, he purchased the paint though on top of disassembling the center console.

The guy only charged me for the paint, he hooks me up on stuff all the time (installed my hoodpins for free). Looks really nice too, even has a clear coat finish
