i went to a different Toyota dealer today other than the one i bought my celica from to check on a short thro shifter and one of the sales managers looked at my 2000 Celica GTS and asked where my rims where? i was like these are the stock rims, he said no the 2000 GTS's come with 16 inch alloy rims, then he continued to try to convince me that the previous car owner bought these rims traded in the car and kept the stock rims? here is a pic of my hubcaps (i havent had the chance to order rims yet) someone tell me that this couldnt be true?!?
that sucks man...I believe the GTS has two options for stock rims. Normally it comes with the celica gt's "upgraded" rims, and you have the option to get better rims. But those rims are neither of the toyota rims...sorry man.

yeah those are toyota hubcaps they come with the gt's...but you actually have to buy another tire if you put those on...so someone took the orginal wheels off your car and sold them...
i have a pair of those still in my garage because my car came with alloy wheels and those hubcaps in the trunk i never knew why since they don't fit on the tire...
That isn't always the case because the gts come with either or the two options. But.. you mostly see gts with the other rims not those hubcaps. When i ordered mine they asked me if i want to upgrade for the gts rims for like 50 bucks more so i did. So you really can't conclude that you got ripped off.
Those hubcabs (the ones you have pictured) come standard on the GT...the 15" alloy wheels are an option for the GT. The 15" alloy wheels come standard on the GTS, and the 16" are an option for the GTS.
So yeah...you got screwed. I'd just buy some aftermarket rims.
*Wendy* 2003 Super White Celica GT-S 6-Speed If the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off
yup, GTS does comes with 15's like the one on GT's, but better tires. however, most dealers order their GTS with 16" wheels most of the time anyway...in short, yeah, you got rapped...
yeah, when I purchased my GT there was no way I'd have gotten those caps - the alloys look much better even though most people get new rims later anyway
dude, id be so pissed i would go to the toyota dealer and complain. gts has to come with rims, either 15 inch or 16. most of them come with the 16 inch, the one with 5 spokes (pictured above). the 15 inch wheel is the one that gt regularly has. gt comes with hubcaps when you have the lowest options to it (no power window...) you got screwed bro, its a shame a gts running on hubcaps. its like a mbz s500 driving on hubcaps. was the car cheap when you bought it? maybe thats why

it had about 37K on it and i talked him down to 14,500. The car was listed at 16,950 or something. I just didnt research the celica before i bought it. Didn't know what it came with or whatnot options wise, i just test drove it and hit lift and i was sold.
