Yo. I'm installing my system soon, and i'm wonderinf if the stock cd deck has preamp outs, and if it does not, how can i hook it up with the least ammout of sacrifices?

It doesn't. Your best bet is to get a deck with 3 preouts for a reasonable price before you start with everything else.

naw your GT doesnt have pre amp outputs.. You would have to buy a aftermarket deck such as alpine,panasonic,sony etc.. THe deck is the first thing i would say change out before buying anything because the deck is going to control everything basically.Good luck! thumbsup

is it possisble to splice one of the rear speaker wires, run one of them to the amp, and the other back to the speaker?

It's possible to get a converter and run an amp with the stock stereo... but it's gonna sound crappy. You'd get better sound from an unamplifed aftermarket deck than from amplifying the stock unit.

bro.. i am in the process of installing a system. I am going to set up like this. new speakers installed front and back. my alpine deck will push the speakers in my car. and my amp will push my subs! Simple but yet the shit sounds hella clear and you can hear from down the street thumbsup
