So still working on the interior of the vehicle. Decided to go with a smooth dash. Started sanding the texture off but that is a pain in the ass. So decided to use a thin coat of bondo body filler instead. That stuff is great! Coated, sanded, and primed. Hopefully the filler primer will work like it's supposed to and fill in the small sandpaper scuffs, we shall see. I'll post pics of the progress tomorrow. THe downside is being how I'd never used the shit before I put a LIL to much on one of the pieces, so yeah... anywho! I think it'll be nice when it's done. Anyone ever used Bondo before??

sounds like a cool project...i prolly wouldnt undertake somethin like that ever...make sure to post pix of the finsihed product...ive used bondo to mold wide body flares on my friend's civic hatch

bad idea---trust me, I've worked with bondo before. If you wet sand it with 220 or 300 grit and work up to 1000 grit-that's your best bet. But dry sanding, as you said above, won't cut it. Wet sanding is always a good idea!

a coupla people told me bondo can be more of a bitch so I'm gunna get some Fiberglass resin and use that instead. I'll get some pics of the process today!
