if ur gonna go s/c better to get the unorthodox pulley set, its around 335$ and its for the alternator, steering and and i forgot what else but its ideal for s/c
You will not get better throttle response. I think that's all in peoples' heads. They add a mod, and expect something to happen, so they think they feel it.
You won't get any horsepower gain, unless you have 50 color TV's hooked to your battery.
Your lights dim at idle, and your power windows slow down. When I'm at idle, I give it gas so they go up faster.
Install can be a pain in the ass.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this mod, and if I had time, I'd take it off of my car.

from what i understand, the pulley-kit doesn't "produce" any hp's...but instead because it's lightweight, it has less rotational mass, freeing up more of the hp's that you already have...doesnt free up very much tho, maybe like 1 or 2...
plus it does give you better throttle response...not sure how much better on that tho, havent ordered mine yet...

It doesn't give you better throttle response, but that's what most people want to believe. Even adding an exhaust will not provide any power that you can actively feel.
And all mods with the exception of F/I free up horsepower.

I would have to disagree with you on this one. Maybe it doesnt produce anything that is extremely (or even while driving, at all) noticeable but I think it does free up hp since its lightweight and has less rotational mass like Octaandy said. I guess your just making it sound like it doesnt work when really it just isnt a big enough gain to warrant the dimming of the lights and power windows.

Less rotational mass? Barely any difference than stock. It just under powers the alternator.
And you call 1 horsepower a gain? That's a margin of error on dynos, so you can't call that a gain.
Want a real one horsepower gain (or an equivalant), then lose 20 pounds in your car.
