Just today i put my 18" rims back on my car. My steering wheel shakes once it gets over 65mph i was just wondering if a strut bar makes any differance in that?

sounds like either
1) an alignment is needed
2) your wheels and tires need to be balenced

hubcentric rings are needed. below certain speeds the off balance mounting points of your rims go unnoticed but at high speeds you balance can be thrownoff.

circular rings that go around the center to make sure your rims are mounted equally with respect to each stud.

there is a site for them but i forgot it. I called wheelmax and asked them and they gave me the internet site to order them off of. You might want to do that unless someone knows the website.

first make sure that if the tires are directional they are going in the right direction. if that is not the problem try torquing the lug nuts down in 20 lb incruments, untill you get to the final torque requirment. this way the rim will be centered on the hub if you dont have the piece that fits into the rim. hopefully this will help you

I got my hubcentric rings with my wheels from Vitek at Kozz Tuning. I can get his e-mail if you want it. I found this also... JustForWheels [ justforwheels.com]. Any tire or wheel place you go to should know what those rings are for. Just tell them you need some hubcentric rings for your wheels or just order them and put them on yourself.

Happened to me as well even though I put the hubcentric rings on all the wheel. You need alignment
