just turn your A/C off when you race, its not worth taking it out - thats why they come factory standard in all models

the compressor doesn't engage unless that little button is on. So you won't notice gains from disabling the belt since unless the AC is ON the belt only spins a low friction wheel (you might get like 1/4hp from bypassing that), just don't use your AC. I honestly don't think there is any reason do disconnect it.
The A/C unit is about 40 lbs... if you are really concerned about the weight, just go to Jenny Craig and they will help you to take that "spair" 40 lbs off

Take off the catalytic converter in California and you'll get a BIG (+$1000) fine by the California Highway Patrol.

you will not get big gains from the cat either. Do you have an exhaust system? How about intake?

Just a lil info!!!! I think your A/C ingages if you put you setting to defrost no matter if that lil' A/C button is Pushed or not. If I'm wrong let me know but I noticed that when I do that not only is the air extremely cold but I feel my car jerk as if I just turned my A/C on.

Oh okay. What about the Catalytic Converter isaac???? again, as written above... you will not get big gains from the cat either. Do you have an exhaust system? How about intake? and while we are on the subject of "missing it", my screen-name is on just about every page of these message forums - and it's spelled as , "ISAAC" - just like spelling of the guy's name who's famous for pointing out "gravity", the many tv shows and movies with actors of the same spelled-out name, also the same spelling used in classic greek history, and in the ever popular book by the name of "The Bible". Hello... McFLY! ... sorry to dump on you - but its been getting on my nerves for the past year now and you were just in the wrong place, at the wrong time dont take it personaly though - im sure a bunch of wise-arses will now hold this over my head for the rest of erternity

don't even bother with one of those "high-flow" cats. All cats have to abide by strict emission standards, which means they're all as restrictive as each other.
