I've been looking for a new shift knob, (my stock leather one is so worn you can't see the 6 speed diagram) but I can't seem to find the design i want. I want a titanium/silver shift knob shaped like the stock 6 speed knob, with a carbon fibre band around the knob, and I wouldn't mind if on the top of the shift knob there is a logo of the brand or whatnot. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a picture of my shift knob, I think it is what you are looking for. It's made by Pilot and I got it at Autozone for about $15.

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

That's not EXACTLY what i was looking for, but it does look nice. I am looking for more of a thin carbon fibre band around the shiftknob...i have the TWM SS and the Carbon Fiber dash, so i want one to flow with that.

I've been looking for knobs for a while now, and all I can find are ricey ones with led's on them that light up.

I was looking for a plain silver knob in a similiar shape as the factory knob.

Only place I could find one was with the B&M shortshifter, but they don't come seperately.

Anyone know what the measurement of the threading on the shifter is, so I can look for knobs with the same sizing?

You got that only for $15 bucks??? Damn man, the ones I see around my neighborhood are charging about $60-$100. But they are like some Import Store from Japan or something. Does it even make a difference if you get an expensive shift knob??

A shift knob is a shift knob! There's no difference between a big ugly ricey one or a sleek TRD one... they all do the same shit! Price means nothing but a brand name...

Brand name and quality.

Some shift knobs will not sit right on our shifters.

How bout those Momo ones?

When shopping for a shift knob, are there certain dimensions or whatnot that I need to look for to make sure that it will work on our car?

All of the Sparco and Momo knobs will fit the Celica. They have different sized adapters so they can screw on to any shifter. Just about every knob that you can buy that isn't for a certain car will fit.
