Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Go wingless or not?

Okay, so maybe a few of you know I have the kaminari kit with the wings west rear wing. I had to take it off last week and took some pictures of how my car looks without a wing.
I also photoshoppped a bit to see what it looks like without the rear trunk handle and the rear wiper.

Some fucker hit my car causing 1100 euro damage without leaving a note (offcourse) so I have to have paint-work done. I am gonna shave my roof-mount antenna for sure and maybe put in a audi TT-style tank-cover. Should I have my trunk hatch shaved too and go wingless?

remember I have the invader style carbon/kevlar hood. This might make the car too aggressive to go wingless. I think it will work though

i took off my TRD wing, wingless looks nicer and more people tell me it looks nice too and that it doesnt look like just some other honda with a wing..

and guess what yesterday someone said "nice Ferrari" lol i was so crackin up
i told him it was a gts celica and he started laughin cause it was a toyota, but he seriously thought the headlights were from a Ferrari

leave the hatch handle and shave the antenna and wiper... then go wingless.

Since we're talking bout wipers now anyways A friend of min ehad his front 2 wipers replaced by one bigo one.. like some Mercedeses have.. is it possible to do this on a Celi ?

Yes. Take off the smaller wiper and move the larger one into it's place.

Youre kit is good to go wingless.. Id say never go wingles with an aggresive kit like Veilside (ec1 or ff GT).. those need a wing.. youre will do just fine without look good to and do the wiper thingy.. and don't shave the back cause when I do it it will be less exclusive

What bodykit do you have on? do you have a front picture of the car? Looks great without even though I have a wing on mine.
