I am wondering if anyone else has this problem, when i move my shifter with the car on or off it makes a squeky noise i think its the shift linkage in the engine bay, can you get rid of it

I had that. I got some wd40. My roommate stayed in the car and moved the shifter around and through the gears while I sprayed. It worked. I di that in January, so its lasted 5 months with no problems. thumbsup

Yeah I had the same problem between 1st and 2nd ... you just need to lube up the linkage by the tranny
