i thought in on thread i read that the aem cai had some bogging problems? i tryed to locate it again, but i cant. is this true?. thanks guys.

Both Injen and AEM do. The TPR doesn't.

is it worth installign it then. where does the bogg happen? is it noticeable. is there a better option?

AEM and INJEN CAI are good Intakes i would prefer AEM from those two but the best is TPR, no boggin that happens on the lower RPMs. boggin is very noticable its like your car is choking or about to stall. its not worth installing if you are the unlucky to get the boggin but there are people who have either Intake and dont get this boggin, but go TPR they are cheaper, perform better, and will not give you any boggin

my AEM bogs like there is no tommorow, somedays when i start it up and start going i can have it floored and it will hardly respond at all, then all of a sudden WHAM! and i just take off, it's kinda funny actually. i do overall like my Intake though b/c other than off the line, it really improves the Performance of the car

Are TPR Intakes even carb legal? I have an AEM CAI and I don't have that bogging problem.
