I checked and test drove the Eclipse besides the Celica. I was also thinking the S2000, but it was out of my price range, and maybe VW GTI, but passed on that idea. At that time the RSX and I believe the WRX weren't out. I compare the Celica to the RSX and if I had to choose between the two at that time I would've chosen the Acura.

I've mastered the art of the After Image Technique.

When I laid eyes on an '00 Celica that was the car for me. But I had to hang onto my '99 another year for cost effectiveness & then I bought my '01 Celica. I test drove an Integra Type R and an Oldmobile Alero 3800, both were faster with more horse but neither had the feel and look of the Celica.

Integra: They get jacked left and right, so the insurance would've been ridiculous. RSX: A lil too much out of my price range.
