IMO, I would lower the canister probably 1/2" 'cuz on a bumpy road, it's gonna rub agains your bumper & it's gonna make a tapping sound. It's not gonna burn your bumper 'cuz the canister doesn't get that hot, but the sound is gonna be annoying.

I don't know about the gains from the TRSM, but the gains from the TUM are minimal.
