First, I just want to say that Nick at Tuned Innovations is awesome at getting things shipped out. I placed an order for the ground wiring kit and got it in like two days. Now only if everyone else could be as efficient.

Second, the kit was kind of a pain for me to install, being that I have big hands and all. Those Japanese created one hell of a tight engine compartment. The first few wires went in easily. I had a bit of trouble figuring out what bolt to use to ground the block to the chassis, but I think I figured it out. The final two wires that ground on the passenger side of the car were a pain to put in, simply because the bolt behind the power steering resovoir was a bitch to loosen and tighten.

After getting everything installed, I managed to drop one of the bolts that holds the battery tray in place down into the bottom of the engine. I heard it hit plastic, but I couldn't find it when I removed the plastics. I also managed to drop a socket down there too. It was a bad experience.

The car started right up. Honestly, I can't tell any difference. Others have said they notice a clearer sounding radio and better acceleration and what not. I haven't noticed anything outside the ordinary. I'm sure the wires help, but don't look for them to be a miracle mod. I'm guessing they'll be better for those with lots of things drawing power off the battery.

Oh, and the socket managed to fall out when I first drove the car. I heard it bouncing around and fall it, fortunately.

how many mods do you have and does it feel like you have inconsistant power sometimes? i feel like i have incosistant power so i was hoping that mod might smoothen out the acceleration. was just a thought though

You won't notice a Performance gain after installing grounding wires. All in your head if you do.

2000 watts... that's a bit much. I'm sure it might help you. I think that is what it is truly designed for.

Me, all I have had done, Performance wise, is Intake and exhaust. No big electrical draws either, other than my XM radio. To each his own I guess. I'm sure it helps on some level unaware to the normal person.

sound definately improved, the idle was smoother i could tell, when i reved the car it was louder, but when i drove the car i didnt feel nothing, but my headlights are brighter, they seem consistent

after you install this, you should notice improvement in idling (little difference), sound, but what it really does not noticable is just takes a little stress of the engine.. this mod shouldn hurt your car, and its so cheap grin

Thanks for the good review. I just lost my job so it's a lot easier to get the kits out quickly now. frown

Good luck with that. Losing a job is a pain in the ass.

not bad...but to save only $10? I mean I'll pay $10 so it can come to my door and I don't have to go to the store to get the cables I need. Plus the poor guy went through trouble to provide nice pics and instructions too so that any monkey...wrench can do it. I say buy the Tuned Innovations kit.

I get my kicks on EC.

You're right, I was under the impression this was one of the 70 dollar kits;

I'd pay 30 for it too smile

If you were to buy just enough of the wire and terminals that I use for one kit, it would probably cost about $30 to do it yourself.

Doubtful, unless you're using 1 gauge wire.

Look up prices for Directed Audio and tell me otherwise.

You have to pull the battery to do the install so there is no way not to reset the ECU.
