I got pulled over tonight for having loud exhaust... and I checked tonite that my car puts out about 108 dB at 3000rpm. I gotta warning (not fix up ticket) but my question is... Do you know how loud your exhaust is?? Cuz I thought cops cant tell the difference between 95dB and 110 dB??
^^yeah, the cop can't ear it, but wouldn't it be scary if they started training k-9s to come after you if you went over a certain threshold! But I'm not worried since from experience a dog has nothing on my celica. german shepherd
dB measurement is exponential. So each 10dB increase in sound intensity is TEN TIMES the sound intensity. The difference in loundess from 20dB to 40dB would be one hundred times as loud. So from 95 to 105, there is a ten times difference. 95bD is approximately the sound of "very loud classical music" Whereas 105DdB is equivalent to a subway passing or a Boiler factory. LOL it's a pretty noticeable difference. But you would still have to measure it.
that old truck isn't even show quality. If he didn't bother replacing the cab interior, why did he but a faggot paint job on it and a mad system in it.
Don't have that prob!... ...I leave early in the morning to work,I don't think my neighboors would appreciate those kind of decibles coming out of my car every dam morning!...

WTF?!
LOL, that truck aint for show. Its probably not even road worthy with all the concrete. And it can't play music either. One sole purpose and its dB. Dozens of batteries, all drained in a 1 second burst of low frequency noise.
Everyone is on the outside, the doors are sealed & it does its thing. The concrete is there to keep the bass in. Like lighting a fire cracker in a sealed glass bottle. You'd have to be mental to get in it.
Its actually 93 dB @ 3000 RPMS, which is a BIT of a difference.
Don't you have to have the certified sticker or something on it to prove it was legal. I remember hearing a lot of ppl being pulled over and getting off.
At least its not Kazuma...
