how long did it last you? what could be the cause of it pooping out?

i have jumped my car twice in the last week, and finally got fed up and went to walmart, and had them check out the battery, it was cranking only 63 amps, when it should be cranking some 500 amps... so i got a new battery (40 bucks) and now it cranks fine, ill just have to see, if it holds power, otherwise it might be my alternator... or something else

The battery is green when I checked it, but sometimes my car takes longer to start. I would have to keep the key twisted in the ignition longer. About an extra 3 seconds or so than usual. Is this okay?

CelicaRacer05, each Celica has a different battery in it depending on what model you own (GT or GTS) and what package you have installed (none, Weather / Full) - And also what year your Celica is.

If you have a 2000 Celica GT - then chances are that you are with the shit battery and you may need to replace it.

Go ahead and spend the $60 to $90 for a new battery - you'll not only love the reliability and new found faith - but you might also notice the added power happywink

NOTES: The best mod i ever did was remove the crap stock battery from my celi and replace it with a sears diehard gold thumbsup

$70.. and self install was done in less than 15 minutes (in sears' parkinglot grin )
