OK guys and gals...after a year of mods my baby's finally ready for a viewing. I'm prepared for what I think I'm gonna get...but she rocks in person...nothing but good comments from ppl and have taken 1st in 2 out of 2 shows. I love it!
the front view is very interesting...I say you toss some side grafix in white...and also get the veilside wing. that would def make me love it a lot more. But yeah..thumbsup for originality...but IMO its not done..the side si too stock...toss omse fender flares..go nuts..you front is insane..but the rest of the car isnt...u get what im saying?..and dont feel bad if people toss negative feedback..its expected...my car still gets ripped on by some people here. BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS...ORIGINALITY you rocked it. keep up the good work.

I want to keep a fine line between aggressive originality and elegance. I'm not a fan of "bench" wings...but never really looked at a VS wing. Maybe someone could photochop one on for me. As far as fender flares, I've looked at F1's but they're Fiberglass. I'm not having much faith in Fiberglass...my front end took a lot of fitment work (bubbles in the glass).
Thanks for the compliment...being original is very important to me. I've never been one to herd with the other sheep.

^^^ definitely original as far as kit and paintwork - if you like it then enjoy...
- just to make a correction - SKOOF was talking about fender flares like BRS, not aftermarket fenders (ie X-1 or F1). The flares provide the car with a wider stance which you'll have to fill with Spacers and a larger tire to make it look even...

Yeah I did...b/c it couldn't really be done better imho. Only the pattern was copied (however I did decide on painting the accent on sideskirts and the spoiler)...everything else from me: redout tails, supra sidemarkers w/ leds, C1 style hoodscoop, aftermarket wheels, on and on. As a result, the originality is that no one I've seen has a Celica anything like it.
dude, FENDER FLARES!!! not fenders... all you do is Fiberglass them onto the original fenders...
anyways, i love the RH rims The front is aggressive, but it doesn't flow well with the rest of the car, cus the rest of the car looks like it just wants you to look at the front and nothing else. TOO MUCH WHITE what'd you do get a deal on some white paint and go crazy?! not to hate on it, it just doesn't look right at all have you done anything to the interior??? You could use the Carbon Fiber Veilside Wing, it'd be HOT!
but all in all, i give your car a: 10 for originality 6.5 for paint(too much white) 9 for body(could use flares) 10 for rims and an over all 8.8 out of 10
Thanks for ALL comments. I knew I'd get quite a bit of criticism...I mean it just isn't something you see every day. But I like it and its interesting that in person I get lots of positive feedback from ppl I never met. Alot of ppl even have their picture taken with it. I don't know how many Celi's w/ blitz, veilside, TRD, and all the other lip kits get that. But in the end she makes me smile. BTW I had the center console and gauge surround painted blue same as exterior. See my profile.
From the side, it looks HOT!!! I can't say he same for the other views, though. But you've hit on one of the major ways to recieve props, and that's originality. I think you need a better spoiler to match the aggressiveness of the front, but I think one of those huge wings wouldn't due. You should get the TRD wing on there. Paint it the same way as your current one. Also, you should (as others have pointed out) add a little more color to the sides, like maybe another stripe lower down.

looks alrite, i have the same sides and rear but i have the JP lip. looks good from the side, i like what you did with the paint, definitely will turn heads
