Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior Computer hook-up

My brother-in-;aw had a computer program (VAG-COM) he could hook up to his VW GTI-VR6 that would diagnose any kind of error that he had. It was a simple cable that plugged into his computer. He ran a program specifically designed for it. Does this exist for a Celica?

yes. you can get an OBD-II reader. I dunno where you can get one but it plugs in to a plug under the steering wheel. The plug is labeled OBD-II.

I have a CarChip. i bought it on ebay for 80 bucks.
