Is there any mounting points for a racing harness that wouldnt make me take up the back seats?

you have a pic of what it would look like? I still need to be able to get into my back seats and use them

then forget about it... the only two viable options that I've thought of for proper harness mounting is either to a B-Pillar mounted directly behind the front seats or to a rear strut bar with the rear seats taken out...

- I prefer the first option but it seems like too much of a constraint

Why do you want back seats??? Oh...ok.
But you know if you take them out, you can fit a small inflatable mattress that runs between the backs of the front seats all the way to hatch. Heck the back seats are so small Toyota should have just made the mattress standard.

^^ then you'll not only be able to fit a racing harness on a roll bar...but you'll be able to fit a harness from the roof to go with your mattress.

Well A friend of mine is sparco importer for Holland and he told me a racing harness should ALWAYS be mounted to the floor.. it can hang over a b-pillar and then to the floor or over a roll cage and to the floor but it always has to be attached to the floor.. if you want it for show purpose.. you can attach it anywere you want.. it doesn't mather.. but if you wanna be safe.. go for the floor and forget about the seats

^^ Oh gosh, you can't be serious your friend said that! Don't confuse people by saying "you can attach it anywere (anywhere) you want". Your statements are misleading (at least in English). Did you misunderstand him or something? Sure it's ok for the lap belt bolts to go to the floor, but not the shoulder harnesses to go directly. That's a NO-NO! The downward force would crush your spine. You can mount the shoulder harnesses to where the rear seats used to be or even better is to mount it at a 90 degree angle to a roll bar (or part of a roll cage). Just attach the shoulder harnesses right to the bar. You don't have to go over the bar and then to floor! That's more of a chance for the harness to get cut in a serious side impact on the street.
Be careful what info you pass on, even if it is hearsay. You don't want to kill or paralyze other people on here.

Aiya. Everyone is worrying me with these racing harness installs... since nobody seems to have any idea on how to mount it the correct way.

Even if mounted properly, I would NEVER install one unless you have a roll cage. If your car overturns and your roof buckles, your body no longer has the ability to shift sideways. Basically, you'd just be crushed.

Think about how much time and effort Toyota spent engineering those seat belts. I'm pretty sure they're safer than anything you're going to toss in there over the weekend.

^^ true. So I had my 8pt chromoly roll cage and sparco harnesses professionally installed by a former sprint car racer and engine builder.
