what do you guys/gals have in the trunk?? do you think 2 12" w/an 800watt amp is too much? right now i have a new box w/ 2 mtx thunder 8000's (1000w) w/my old 200 w/ amp and it is fkn loud... my friend is tellin me that a 800w amp would sound even better...

you can never have too much power ... .. but yeah 800 should be good.

holy shit...that's exactly what i'm doing, except the sub part is a bit higher
oh and the fiberglassing could cost like 1500

yea it might be a few weeks till mines done because I have sooo much to do with the system, hell I don't even know what subs to go with http://www.eclipse-web.com/products/speaker/sw9100/sw9182pro.htmlthe ones i want are the first ones those are 18 inch 5,000 watt speakers...*drools* if I had two of those ...wow...can you say "plexiglass windows" ??

800 watts should do fine for you with those subs. I'm running 2 JL 12W3's with a 1x500 JL amplifier (Also, have 400w for the mb quart components).
