My friends and i brought this up, becuase he wants to Turbo his prelude, but had a question about it! He has about 99k miles on it, and at that much miles i wouldnt trust a Turbo on it. But, if you were to replace all the internals, ie rods, pistons, crankshaft, valves, springs, retainers, rocker arms, etc, etc, basically the only thing stock would be the engine block, wouldnt it be just the same as putting a new engine in?? THen, he should be able to boost without a problem correct?? Am i totally off, or is that a reasonable saying??

Pretty close

but if you are swaping in performs parts then the old engine witht the performes parts would be better than a new stock engine thumbsup

The connecting rods and valves are probably areas you need to pay the most attention to when it comes to force induction.

so i am right in saying that if he were to change all his internals, or most of them, the important ones, then it would be like a new engine, if not better and it would be safe to run Turbo correct??
