the casing on the Us spec GTS tranny and the euro GT tranny are the same, just different gearing...ecelica member c2gas has a giant Turbo setup on his car and has a GTS 6 speed on his GT (euro version with the euro 6 speed GT version tranny normally)...he's having his gears re-cast so he can juice up his motor more. AT 250 FT-lbs of torque the 1zz tranny gives, and he's having the gears recast in chromoly steel, and straight cut to be like a rally car tranny. meanwhile he has put a GTS 6 speed on it, and is driving it. He said on the other site that the housing for the GTS 6 speed and the Euro GT 6 speed for the GT are the same, so I think that yes, theoretically it would and it seems that someone has already guinea pigged the idea. I've got a few PM's into him on this site and on the other site, and I'm waiting for him to get back to me about this very thing. thumbsup

when doing this 6 speed tranny on the GT engine, are there any modifications that need to be done with the pistons or head?
