both Intakes are not going to make your celica blow any doors off, so go with SRI. it's much easier to clean, along with the heat shield, more bling bling for the show...

well if you get the CAI get the by pass valve and you wont have any problems but if ur still woried get the sr it's all up to you if ur really looking for power get the CAI if it's just for mostly looks and a little power get the SR
i've been changing but you'll never see me now now i'm blaming you for everything

i'd go with the SRI. IMO its more easy to clean and it has a nice sound to it.
I've mastered the art of the After Image Technique.

AEM or TPR...injen bogs down low with the CAI and you being in houston will not help with a heat soak prone short ram.

weve talked about this enough, theres a sticky in custom mods forum. get tpr, its both a cold air and a short ram and has great gains if you care about Performance. if you just want the noise of the Intake with a bit power, get SR. or else get CAI if you really care about hp gains.

Stock air box works awesome dude! So True, SRI is pointless. Will give you no low end gain may even loose power. You get little back up top but thats only about 3hp, little more than a TRD drop in filter.

3HP, no way ... maybe 1HP at the very most. But, you only get that at peak, in the bottom you probably loose 5HP. So over-all its a net loss, risk hydro lock, cost you money, BS to install, reset the ECU ...

people just throw numbers out without dyno proof...a short ram in a gts will garner at least 8whp peak!...but you lose just as much down low...

That's not proof. That's not a third party objective dyno, its propeganda. The dyno's showing <1hp gain have been posted before. Also, the dyno isn't enough either, you have to know the setup of exhaust, headers & any other mods done before you can come to any conclusions.

Magazines are not third part & impartial. Half the shit in them is a lie. And that dyno is not Injen either.

Are you suggesting sport compact magazine is not impartial? if they are not then why would they post negative comments about the Intake as well as positive comments as well. all i keep reading is...lie lie lie...where are these dynos you speak of? personally all the dynos i have seen with a gts have met with at least 5whp. plus for your information the rmm and injen piping and coinfiguration are identical. right down the the mafs placing.

I don't trust magazines, they make their money advertising & if they shit on a product they don't get their advertising dollars. Moreover, I think there are some out there that get paid to write articles about products that want exposure.

From their website. 154.1HP is very low for a stock rating.

actually 154 is about right...many gts' dyno around 155-160whp. lucky who runs 13.7 at the 1/4 dyno'd at 155whp stock

i'm pretty sure with TPR you don't lose power down low cause it reads the correct amount of air unlike other aftermarket Intakes.

I like my Injen SRI. I never noticed any low-end loss, in fact it seems a LITTLE snappier. I have an auto GT tho...high end noticeably better tho. Sounds great, looks great in the engine bay too. I haven't regretted buying it. My opinion!

WOW!!! Another Intake thread Will the madness ever end? That's what i'm saying, won't people just use the "search" feature...??? i think Isaac should make the search button like half the size of the website so people can see it, either that or put an Intake and RIMS and EXHAUST buttons up there leading to all the threads on them... lol

TPR will be stirring up exhaust threads starting in the next couple days ...backorder on the Intakes should end very shortly! I redesigning the mounting system to be more user friendly and sturdier.
TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING! TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!
