Well, hopefully Scion will improve; they're in their 1st model year, so they have to get the kinks out. If you look at Consumer Reports, its pretty similar, and they say Toyota ranks higher for cars that are a few years old (i.e. Honda and the others report a more steeply increasing failure rate as they age).

Toyota moves up in the standings for following years. It may even get ahead of Honda at about five years; I'm not sure (that means, an average 5-year old Toyota has less reported problems than a 5-year old Honda).
