I have a vis carbon fiber raised hoodscoop and they forgot to send me the hardware to install it. I was wondering what size bolts i need to put this in my car. I know they are 4 screws, but i just need the size of them so i can get the scoop on. Thanks.

I don't really want to take mine off to figure it out. Take the scoop to the hardware store, do a little trial and error in the store.

i think its 5mm nuts though cause i had 2 replace mine! get both 5mm and 10mm they will be a whole $4 i think.. I think hte nuts are .13 and boltsare like .60 and the washers are like,40 so just get both sizes if you don't wanna risk making two trips!

The only thing I would worry about is the length.

I tried to call them and send me the bolts and i was put on hold forever, so it is just not worth it. I am pretty sure they are the same size as the stock bolts, which are 10 mm. The problem is with the length, so hopefully i can get it figured out.

Use the bolts from your factory hood scoop! They are 10mm - I just put a scoop on my car.

Exactly, that's what you have to do with the RMM scoop (it doesn't come with any bolts).

Here's an install I posted a while back:

You got it bro, thats the part I didn't know, the length. They are 10mm (thought everyone knew that part, sorry) but there short like 1", not very long at all. You also need some lock washers, they come with it as well.

Sorry again that my first post was not more helpful, take for granted what people know and don't sometimes.

I got it figured out. I took my scoop to my shop and just looked around for some bolts and found some lockwashers and that was that. Car should be out of the shop tuesday so i will get you guys some pics. I repainted the entire car, fixed all of my dings, veilside replica, kam carbon fiber race wing, and carbon fiber raised hoodscoop. It is going to be flawless. thumbsup
