Does anyone have any experience with the Direct Power System grounding kits as reviewed in the September 2004 issue of "Turbo" magazine? If I just saw it in an ad, I would think it was bunk. I do, however, trust "Turbo"s dyno tests. I'm not expecting 12 whp, but a few more would be nice. Any thoughts.

You're not going to get any horsepower from a grounding kit, unless your car is loaded with aftermarket accessories.

well you might get 1 or 2 hp, that is my next mod of the list cause im not loaded with aftermarket accessories but i have enough to where it will help me out... supposed to stop lights from dimming, better gas mileage, smoother idle, and 1 or 2 hp...

but dont expect any HP gain, if that what this is all about.

but like bmw52786 stated, it will stop the lights from dimming and a smoother idle. i've never heard about better gas milage. but maybe that too thumbsup

Like I say, I'm very skeptical but "Turbo" dynoed a 12 whp (not at peak) gain in a Mitsubishi Evo (they were skeptical at first too). The kit has a special 'black box'.
