Hey everyone! Basically the deal is i'm 17...just bought a 2000 liquid silver celica GTS 6 speed...and within a week from buying it i purchased and installed the TRD exhaust and tinted taillights. I am planning on maybe 2,000 in mods, probably lip kit, wing, rims, Intake, hood...? I'm not aiming for much more Performance which i don't need and frankly wouldn't use...just want to keep it clean and unique. I would GREATLY appreciate any and all opinions!!!
haha yeah i know it's cool...i LOVE my celica and i've only had it 7 days...that's why i changed the topic to cool(er)...I have no expenses other than my car because i'm still living with the 'rents...and want to take advantage of that luxury while i can

b4 i became a memeber of this website i knew almost nothing about cars... if i didnt become one i would of had no idea what the best mods are for our car and things that give the best gains, lightest in weight, etc... some people need options when they cant think of any at that time to give them ideas... WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT??? answer that for me
Oh and thanks guys for the opinions...and the taillights are nice...they shine pretty bright so i don't think i'll have any problems with the law...and from farther away or in dimmer light they look black...right up close in the daylight they look like this wine color.. and if anyone is interested in them...go to tintedtaillights.com and email micah and tell him that tim sent you!
Yea he is good...how much did you get yours for? I'm happy with mine...although they came pretty dirty...but cleaned up nice. I HATE the gay euro's and altezzas and chrome junk...but these i like and everyone loves too!

i paid $80 for mine. In my opinion taillights are all too expensive for just plastic...but...it was cheaper than most euro's...and i'm planning to red-out my stockers and see what i can pull for 'em
Also what is a good drop kit? I'm planning on a lip kit which will lower it 1-1.5"...and i have plenty of back roads and really sh*tty ones at that...and i don't want to get a new lip kit and nick it up the first day i get it...also need to be able to make speed bumps...any suggestions?

oh and the $80 for my tails was off of ebay auction...i think he asks $120 retail and includes nationwide shipping...but i thought 120 was a little steep...but also were the first pair of tinted tail lights i found for sale anywhere...
Dude tint you windows. Im 17 also just got my silver 2000 gts 3 months ago. i tinted them myself. the tint cost 40 and thats it. cheap mod to make your car stand out. i got tons of compliments..fo real. pple are like "damn that tint come with the car?" yeah heres a pic.

nice car sboca, get a trd spoiler (wish i had one), aem Intake, uhh.. tint your windows which is cheap, new exaust system if you didnt do that allready, and whatever else that comes to your mind that you want to do. but nice ride! hey cycocelica what is the clear corners-clear supras? can you show me them and a site to buy them and look at them? thnx. peace out
here is my opinion...go around look at pics and see what you like...read forums and do what you want to ur car...who cares what everybody else thinks would look cool..to certain people their ideas are not going to look that great...its ur car ur money do what you think looks nice...the car looks great stock so you cant go to wrong

body kit, rims, lowering kit. I dont really like the looks of gunmetal rims. I also have a silver gts. It has the trd body kit and i plan on getting rims and suspension next. Im going to get silver rims even though some peoples say you should contrast your rims. Silver rims look best in my opinion. Im planning on enkie cdr9 rims. keep pics posted
00celica00GT...I don't know of any REALLY good body shops unfortunately. Especially up my way...half the cars up here are jeeps, trucks, hickmobiles and the like. I go to JP Goetz automotive in Pennsburg for most of my needs...it's a small shop but they're nice...and do a nice paintjob...but I don't know if they are experienced with body kits or especially painting Urethane I'm not going to recommend you to them because i'm not sure of their capabilities. There's no shop or retailer geared towards aftermarket products for imports that i have seen in my travels around here...how about you?
First thing I did was get the windows tinted with 15% tint, and then I got the Honda S2000 Antenna, And then I got 17" Motegi MR7 rims, and the my Alpine IVA-D300 dvd player.

If I were you Id go round and look at all these choices given above and then some. Dont put stuff on ur car cause sombody else likes it. Your car is suppose to reflect YOU. You make it the way you think it looks good. Thats why there are choices in life. To make stuff UNIQUE.
I'm thinking it would be best to get a body kit and drop it with some TRD springs...possibly get around to the rims a little later, as the stock GTS aren't that bad...plus i got brand new Toyos on them and it would be a shame to go to waste. -unless- someone wants or knows someone who is interested in 5 GTS rims, 4 of which with hardly used Toyo's? -anyone know if there is a vizage JP body kit for less than $580?
are you talking about the F1 kit? or the lip kit? I personallly like the lip kit. F1 is kinda funky looking to me. I am thinking about the lip kit or carcept lip kit for myself.
haha lip kit for sure...F1 is pretty damn quirky...and honestly wouldn't even consider it unless i was making enough power to justify painting pink bunnies all over it!
I went to vizages and clicked on some of the closer retailers around here...the cheapest was 580+ shipping...though some sites were under construction.
