Is it possible to just add more sensors to the stock gts alarm i.e. tilt sensor, window break frequency sensor, etc etc. or do you have to buy the whole new one?

I have no idea...i am not sure, I don't think toyota offers that do they?

o i dunno bout that... i'll prolly go and ask the place where imma get the alarm. if i can't add sensors then imma get the viper responder.

get an aftermarket alarm...factory alarms really aren't that great...

y not? the factory alarm seems ok it has all the basic stuff: shock sensor, door sensor, hood sensor, trunk and dome light sensor, and engine kill. is there a difference between these functions and the functions offered by other competitors like viper or clifford?

factory alarms aren't that bad. I have a viper, but go to a stereo/alarm store in your area and see if they can add any mods to a factory alarm.
