I was on my way back from GA Southern visitng my girlfriend just cruisin at like 110 on I-16 (straight highway, you can see about 3 miles infront of you at all times) and there was a cop hiding behind a tree...as i passed i put my brakes on but he was already with his lights on and i didn't want to risk running cause you can get royally fucked for that, so i pulled over and he gave me a ticket going 99 in a 70...i'm pissed but at least i'm not getting my liscence taken away...

gotta suck. i usally do about 15 over. that way the fools doing like 20 or 25 over will get a ticket instead of me. works like a charm. better luck next time.

Why be pissed, its the nature of the beast. I look at speeding tickets as tolls. I pay for the right to speed.

Be lucky he put down 99 instead of 100. youll just get a fine. if it was over 100 it wouldve been a point.

my friend just got a $500+ speeding ticket. he was doing 80 in 55, and it was in construction zone.

do you guys think he can get away with it and not to pay?

his excuse is that the car behind him was too close, so he was speeding up to change to another lane.

I think the ticket'll be like 200<x<300 so i'm prepared to pay it...I would have gotten points regardless, but I can plead nolo contindre or whatever it's called to drop the points but pay the fine...The radar read 99...he didn't cut me any slack at all, he wrote it to the fullest. My court date is October 11 in SWAINSBORO...that'll be interesting to go to...

if you get caught, pay the damn ticket, its your own fault, you shouldnt of been speeding any way, now if you dont get caught, then by all means, hit it up...i dont know what states have such liberal laws, but you guys are talking about doing 30 miles over and not getting arrested, im not from va, but becuase of the navy im stationed out here, and if you go more than 20 over, they take your car and lock you up!!

i got one in florida july 24 2004 doing about 115 heading to miami...from charlotte,nc...i was leading a porche suv...and i got yanked, then was told to catch up with him as he went to get the other guy...i was so tempted to fly on by but crap he had my d.l...total price for the ticket after he reduced my speed to 99mph (what a guy) $205.50

so the cop had you follow him at 100+ to get the porsche guy?
