many reasons, mostly because the potential of the RSX engine, you can easily do 250whp N/A or 300whp Turbo. This engine responds SO much better to mods than the celi, plus the aftermarket is much larger! Another reason is my celi was pushin 76k while this only has 13k on it! I love it!!

Actually I just took some pics of it last weekend i just need to get them developed. Ill post them up as soon as i get them. The pic in my sig is a pic of my car-well a small piece of it. lol

Yeah no shit! It's a honda thats why, and everyone makes parts for honda engines. Good buy!
250 hp? thats like 50 from stock... good buy though, i will get a type-s if celicas arent available in my area around christmas time... hopefully there will be a spec blue gts

nieh...should have kept the celica dude but thats cool the rsx is nice too. have you seen the new 05 rsx? in my opinion it looks kinda civicy...so i dont know kinda ugly
Good choice on cars for now. I would rather a RSX over my ride, but what happens in a couple of years when the RSX gets bumped up to a Super Rex putting out 240HP and etc. after you put mega money into your RSX? What happens if a new Supra, the Evo MR, or a Turbo RX-8 comes out? I'm only trying to say you can never keep up with the "Jones". You made a good choice but don't kill yourself putting parts on the RSX, when you know in 2-4 years some other car will come out that will be better and catch your eye especially after dealing with a sold modded Celica for an RSX. Think about the children for God's sake!

How can you even put those cars in the same class? 1, i dont have an unlimited budget, 2, i could never afford the insurance. I am very happy with it and think it has awesome potential!! Unfortunately the day after i got it i cut 2 of my fingers really bad so i havent been able to drive it Mods will begin in a week or 2!

yea i know that my car will never be an AWD Turbo like the evo or sti, but i like being the "underdog" i like doing things that arent usually expected like a Turbo type s. I like the challenge of knowing there are faster cars than yours which will make modding a lot more fun and challenging!
I'm not saying you need an AWD Turbo. I'm saying that maybe you should take it easy on the mods for your new RSX figuring that you sold a modded Celica probably losing money. I'm also guessing that you're 20 or under. So in a couple of years when you start making decent money (hopefully) and see the new cars out there that will kill the RSX in Performance and looks stock you might wonder if you did the right thing with the modifications and money spent on 2 different cars. Does that make any sense? Damn, I think I'm getting old.
I guess most of us are losing interest in the Celica!...i've seen celica's being sold and traded in for s2000, RSX,350Z,G35!... Celica tradition is dying out!...
