i just found out about this on the news. supposedly, if you spray your plate with this stuff it will block it out when a picture of it has been taken. which makes the shots taken by cameras while running red lights useless. anyone else here of this?
a cop i once new, said that there was a spray that could be bought from any hardware which does that, but he wouldn't tell me what it was... so i'd say that spray would work
strange that they advertise it like that... but these days they can sell it, it's only illegal once it gets put on a road registered vehicle
just use a hair jell spray... it's the same thing.
or wax ur lisence plate couple of times... it works that way too.
car polish compound works also...
well basically, anything that makes ur car shine will do the trick
there's many ways that you can do to make the lisence plate invisible to the cameras with flash light without spending extra money. (hence, using what you already have in ur house.)
just a heads up for ppl dont want to spend extra money.
it works my friend has it. but her in norway we got some new digital camara fhing a lot of places and they dont work on thos boxes but i never seen any of those newboxes i just heard about it on the news, they only work on the old box becuase of the flash in the boxes!!!
Do you guys live in areas where lots of photo of plates happens?
I don't notice it too much here, I know it happens if you run a toll, or at this particular railroad crossing, if you cross tracks BEFORE the gates are completly up, you will get a ticket. I have actually seen the camera's flashes going off every single time the gates go up.
Pigs in Los angeles too, they give out tickets for putting a parking permint on your rear view mirror. C'mon what is that, while he was giving me a ticket, I bet there was real crime being commited. Lazy ass.
actually cops out here are too busy sittin on their azzes to do anything.
I know what you mean. I live in the south suburbs (Frankfort, near Orland Park). Adding camera lights around here would put our PD out of business. Cops have nothing better to do around here but stop people any chance they get, unless they need a doughnut, in which case they would flip on the sirens and rush over to Dunkin' Doughnuts.
if it works, we should start a group buy for this stuff!!
go to the camara store and ask them for a spray that will "over expose" items, its the same concept, then try it your self, use ur digital and take a picture with and without flash...
You think this would work on the EZ-pass cameras? then you could just drive through EZ-pass and if they cant get your plate they cant send you a ticket...lol just an idea.
The Early Bird Gets The Worm, But The Second Mouse Gets The Cheese.
My cuzin has some of that stuff. He runs the toll plaza's all da time, he never got a ticket in the mail... I thought he was just lucky so I went through without it and ended up with a bill for $117. Im gettin dat shyt...
i know they work, but im still nervous about sparying that shit and running a red to test it, i cant afford anymore tickets. The red light camera's are just fines right? i dont think they can assign points
chrome license plate frames do the same thing. I beat this one camera a shit laod of times. When i drive my other car without the chrome frame..i get the ticket in the mail the next day. BUTT with the celica... i never get caught. Tihs is because the flash reflects off the plate adn they cant read the #z. I tried taking several pictures with a normal camera..and the same thing happens.
