i got a 2000 and its at 66k im not to bothered about mileage.. its a car! it WANTS to see road! it'll run for a LOOONNG time.. unless you like to drive it hard everyday...
no its real, i gurantee it! i used to drive 350 miles a day, 3000 every two weeks for about 3 years, about 75000 a year. bought it brand new. i live in granada hills. my car is still a warrior, it runs good. only problem i had is that alternator was going bad at around 220,000. other than that its good. i have a lot of exterior damage thanks to other people, like cadillacs and broncos, but its still looks good and handles good. i drive around l.a so most of that mileage is stop and go in the streets of l.a. im gonna build my car like its suppose to be now. i know some poeple here on the forum have seen, i forgot who though. mileage is all based on the driver, ive seen tercels with more mileage than me and there 10 yrs old. they have like 500k in the same motor with one good piston. i cant prove it since i dont have a picture, sorry. but i really have this much mileage and am willign to prove it to anyone~!
dont bow down to me i just drove it nicely, its toyota who you should give the props to. Remeber this women are like cars, you gotta treat them slow and easy
I believe it fully. I probably would had one of the highest mileage Celicas out there if I didn't lose my license, stopped seeing my spaced out friends, moved up in the corporate world, and didn't have my girl. I put on around 66,000 miles the first 2 years. So yes it's possible and the more mileage the more problems. Don't let the whole Toyota reliability fool you. Most of us get the Royal Shaft from Toyota because we drive a Celica. We push that little car hard. Things are going to be effected/affected. You say I don't drive hard, then why do you own a sporty car? To drive around in an over priced tin can for looks? Getting girls/guys I can understand. Other than the enjoyment of driving close to or over the limit. Anyways, congrats on the 100,000 and good luck on the next. Ride, Rock, Hard On.
