Hey Partypeople, I've got a 2000 Celica GTS with 107,000 miles. I've become increasingly annoyed with cloudy surface on the stock radio's display window. I think it has become cloudy due to my use of Windex; or my rare run over it with ArmorAll. I'm guessing that the display window does not like the amonia content of the Windex. I've spoken with friends and I've gotten various responses; one said try vinegar. Another said that I'm screwed unless I try buffing the top layer out with a soft dremmel attachment. Another said that the face is made of plexiglass which requires plexiglass cleaner. I've looked into the owner's manual but nothing is noted regarding the cleaning of the radio. If anyone else has experienced this and has a fix, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

pick up some 303 Aerospace Protectant 303's site <----Click here [ 303products.com] ...works on everything...even our sensative moonroofs...I use it on the engine bay plastics too..check my Profile for pics... DO NOT USE A DREMMEL, WINDEX, ARMORALL, OR VINEGAR I had the same prob after the collision center worked on my car...used some 303 and it went away...but now every 4-6 months it comes back..I have no clue what they did...but another wipe of 303 and its gone.. simply put this shit is a miracle in a bottle for plastic, rubber, and well just read about it.

Try Bluemagic plastic and plexiglass cleaner/light scratch remover. I had hairline scratches from using rough paper towels on my clear gauge cover and now they are gone! i believe Mothers brand makes a similar product too.
