Ok, i can't remember right now if some one already asnwered this.. but last time i checked it was kind of unclear... I have an 03 GTS which comes with the gay auto antenna =\ I was wonderin if the s2k antenna fit the auto... and IF they do, what parts do i need? i think some one mentioned something about the base mount? or, does some one know what the part is EXACTLY called? Some pictures would sure help right about now. Thanks guys, always could count on you...

DontMessWithKram: ya, but you have to get the base DontMessWithKram: because you cant just take out the antenna, there is nothing to screw it into DontMessWithKram: you would have to swap out the entire unit more replies pls

commonly, the swap is a 1 minute mod for the celicas with the manual antennas. but if you have the auto, you NEED to get the replacement base, or else it wont be functional.
No need for caffeine.

not sure what the base costs, but the antenna itself costs ~15. there are links floating around here, just do a search. i got mine off another celica owner that i met on the street. sold me an extra one that he had sitting in his trunk for 8 bux.  i popped off my old on threw that in the trunk, and popped on the new one. 1 minute.
No need for caffeine.

you need #26 and #27 to be able to install Honda's S2000 antenna on your 2003 Toyota Celica as a replacement for the factory standard power antenna. if you want to make it functional, than you need to also purchase #24

Anyways, from what people have been sayin, it IS possible to replace the 03 auto antenna w/ the s2k antenna... ARE YOU SURE THAT IT'S NOT possible?

for the dude with the custom sound system and the auto antenna, why not throw a switch on the power line of the antenna and raise it only when you need it???? Hey, not a bad idea... but sounds liek a custom job that'll probably run higher than the s2k antenna which costs only about $25 (hopefully comes with the base  ) Thanks for the idea man!

I have an 03, and its only the celicas GT or GTS with the new JBL sound system. I don't have that system so I don't have that problem.
