Almost every spec blue Celica I see has silver rims...to include mine. I really want these hyperblack ones.

What do you guys think? What size tires would you recommend? I'm making the jump down from 19 to 17 inch, and am currently on 35 series tires. I'd like to lower it some, but don't currently have much clearance with that Blitz front end.

I think it will flow nice with the rest of the blue/black theme...

Those wheels look good! I'm thinking atleast a 40 series tire. Nothing less, especially if you don't have a drop. It depends on how wide they are. If they are 7.5 i'd guess 215/40/17 or 215/45/17. If they are 8" wide then go with a 225/40/17.

Nice rims...I like gunmetal look on pretty much any color car...though it's a few too many spokes for me. But whatever you like is what you should put on. It might take a week to clean those rims. And i would go with a 40 series tire like psquared said. thumbsup

Good color, but imo there are too many spokes, something cleaner would look better. A 40 series tire would be good too just like everyone else said.

I think they will look good, aslong as there isn't to much chrome/sliver on the outside of yuor car.

Too much going on for my taste. Not feelin' them at all. Love hyperblack or gunmetal for the color though. Good luck hard desicion with so many choices. Took me forever but I LOVE my rims. It's all about your taste and what you like.

update: after re-assessing my available funds, new rims will have to wait for a while. partly because someone is taking their time paying me back $1,000, and mostly because i am about to move into a new place. i really need to hold on to cash right now.

thanks for all your input though, really!
