I'm saving up to buy the new 2004 CELICA GTS, But will ecelica.com still be around by then?...And will i be able to order a celica in the next couple of years?

Heh he, I think the important question is... can you buy a new Celica (GTS) after 2005. The answer is... sometime in 2005 (when exactly I don't know) the Toyota plant that makes the Celica won't make it anymore! No more generation seven. Of course that doesn't answer the question of when is the last day that you can go buy yourself a new Celica... ? I dunno.

...Maybe like 10 years later, they might reconsider and design a generation 8 - but that's later, maybe way later.
So yeah, I'm deciding between getting a GT or a GTS.

So you could still get a Celica by buying it overseas and brining it to the U.S., or wherever you lived. But it won't be easy, or cheap. They may be coming out with an 8th gen design to go into production in 2006.

They just lower the price for the year-end "closeout" along with all the other '04 models. Eventually, I think they do get sold. I can't imagine there being any leftover Celicas from '04 for very long. Most lots I've been to don't have any, and if they do, its usually a GT (there are less '04 GTSs out there). When I got my '04 GTS here in Tempe, AZ 2 months ago, I was blown away because the lot here had 2 GTSs and NO GTs.

I asked TOYOTA NORWAY if they knew anything about the celica beeing discontinued. They hadn't heard anything at all about it. So I'm **REALLY** hoping it only applies to the US market 'cause they don't want celica&mr2 to compete with scion. And, no, they don't sell scion over here at all.
Please god, let this be a USA only problem? please?
