They're not made completely out of C/F, which is why they're only 18 lbs. Been thinking about putting them on my ride, but I'm still on the fence about it.

The rim may hold up but one rock or pebble driving down the road hitting the rim is all it takes to crack or chip the Carbon Fiber, not to mention scratching it. Definitely for show and not practical. I get my kicks on EC.
