Congratulations teng. Relationships like that are hard to find. I mean how you dont care if she wrecks your car but you care more about her lol. But seriously congratulations Thank you brother, that was nice of you to say.

My wife is welcome to drive the Celi, but in 2.5 years she hasn't driven it. She says "I'm afraid I'll hit a mosquito and you'll be mad!" She's kidding, but she hasn't driven it. Won't ride the bike either. Or the quad. She drives her Hyundai and is content. But WE own these things and she can drive whatever she wants.

i usually let my g/f drive me home. she's usually careful and everything. but dis one time when it was really rainy, sum van tried to dash across dis one-way highway into the intersection but the van was too long and the its end was still in our lane. so she immediately braked which caused the brakes to lock up and she tried to get into the right lane after a car passed but it was too late. the left side of my bumper caught the van and dat messed up the bumper, headlights, and fenders. dat's the reason y i needed sum parts a few months ago. well i still let her drive it now wit no worries. she's told me she's goin to buy me a vis invader hood. yay!

The only person (besides myself) I trust to drive my Celica is my fiance... But that's only under one condition - as long as he doesn't drive crazy like he does in his 300 Z.

Who cares if they drive it. I see more females driving Celicas than I do males, anyway.

I let her drive my GT before, but she hated it. It was too low for her. She likes those SUV. She never driven the GTS tho, she does not know how to drive stick shift. I am planning on teaching her that next summer.

I always let my girl drive. I love girls that drive sticks. She did back it into a boat once...but its all good. I can fix it...eventually. She means more to me than my car does... took me a helluva long time to figure that out though.

Yes, I let my wife drive my car. She has a 5-speed GSR with some mods, so I know she can drive and she is also a very safe driver.

But something i'm sure you'll all enjoy...my MOM drove my car to work for 4 days...yes my almost 50 year old mother...to a lab for lehigh valley hospital...and she loved it...and liked everyone giving her looks as she zoomed by...I was never so bitter in my life. The only prob for her was she had a little harder time getting out of it

There's only 1 girl I EVER let drive my CELI on regular basis. And that was my EX of 6 years. She practially learned how to drive in my GTS. It was a trip to, because she began wanting to RACE it. ::Sigh:: Good times .

I've usually told them that if they give good enough road head, they can drive. Basically, if she's willing to run the risk of my driving being "impaired" then I will run the risk of letting her drive.

I let my wife drive my car but she is scared to death about something happening to it so she normaly refuses when I offer. I know she's got some skills behind the wheel so I trust her. I'm taken her to the drag strip when we get her a car.

Wow... You guys really don't trust your girlfriends with your cars, huh? I will say that, yes, most girls drive pretty crappy... But guys - shouldn't you be able to trust your own gf with your most precious possessions?

I let my GF drive my car twice: 1) On her Birthday...I promised I would let her. It made her happy cause she know how mental I am about my car. 2) Went to my sisters birthday and got drunk she got to drive home but let me tell you it sobered me up pretty fast. Not that shes a bad driver its just that its my car, and if were going to get into an accident I want it to be behind the wheel. I love my baby...GF that is

Not yet, my girlfriend is just learning to drive and her first drive was in her uncles 02 or 03 Toyota Prius and it was a bit nerve racking at two points of the drive, and then her friend let her drive a Pontiac Grand Am Sport which was manual and she did well I hear, didn't grind the gears or any thing. So I told her once she gets more experiance she can try the Celica.. I just don't want any thing to happen to my car and I don't think it's the prime car to learn how to drive manual on, I learned on a '90 Nissan Sentra and '02 Mazda Protege and worked my way to a '00 Type-R then the GTS and I think even today I wouldn't jump into a high powered car without driving something under 300hp first.

I let my ex drive twice the first time she was carful in a parking lot.She didn't want to damage my car. THen the second time all hell broke lose. I have an auto but I drove a manual ranger before I got my car. So most people in a manual use the parking brake. well she forgot to check it and we rode for about 1-2 1/2 miles with the e brake on. but I am not with her as long as they check everything out then maybe.
