I am so freakin confused and i can never seem to find the answer. well here goes. everywhere ive looked i see that the big brake kit from trd does not specify gt or gts. so im assuming its for both. does this kit replace all 4 discs on the gts? and does it convert the drums to discs in the back of the gt? plz somebody who owns or knows about the kit, help me out.

The TRD big brake kit is made by Stoptech. I have dial-up so I'm too lazy to check myself but I don't think the kit is specific to either the GT or GTS. All it will include is upgraded rotors, calipers and stainless steel brake lines to replace your old ones. This replaces the FRONT brakes only, not the rear. If you have a GT you're still stuck with shit-for-brakes in the back, but in all honesty I think a set of $1800 front brakes should slow your shit down pretty quick.

the front discs would be the same on both GT and GTS, it wouldn't replace the drums you woul dhave to get the rear disc brakes from a GTS

i was under the impression it would be costly. if you could get the rear disc assembly off a wrecked GTS you'd save yourself some $$$

that's about as expensive as i thought. correct me if i'm wrong but as effective as front and rear discs would be, wouldn't upgraded front rotors/calipers be sufficient for a GT? i'm planning on getting a set of Rotora brakes this spring.

The front brakes do more or less 90% of the actual braking. So you don't really need to do a rear disc swap.. other then the fact that well drums are so ugly!
