wondering if ne one on these boards has this done. ive seen some of these topics on the 6th gen forum, but would like to hear about some 5th gens with this mod. i would also like to kno some basic info..like 1/4 mile time, engine wear (ne problems), parts, cost, etc. please no posts about the 3sgte, or things like 3sgte is better. etc.

5sfte is all over celica.net especially in the forced induction section. Better yet check out burien toyota's kit. It comes with pretty much everything you need. Just find those same parts for cheaper and piece together your own kit. The only thing extra you would need would be your basic piggy back electronics and intercooler with intercooler piping.

i am in the process of doing this turbo set-up, if you have any questions post them up here and i will do my best to get you an answer as prompt as possible. yes c.net has buttloads of info. [email]fischman@9psi[/email] has finsihed the project as well as schreindogg,todd@8psi, nuke is a good resource, just do all of teh research possible before jumping into this. my install is going ratehr well, look at otehr peoples mistakes and learn from them.

oh yeah and burien discontinued teh kit, so you can use the parts as reference but that is it

yea..ive been doing a lot of research over the past few weeks..wut psi do you recommend for safe boost before getting to forged internals (intercooled)..ive heard different opinions on this..some say above 10 psi, and others as low as 7..also the stock 3sgte top mount intercooler bolts right up correct? the only reason im asking is because i have my body kit molded on..and it would be a REAL PAIN to remove it to put an ic in there..and then to put the bumper bak on..so im thinkin of just doin top mount with the alltrac hood.
