If any body by chance has any detailed instructions on how to remove the restrictor plate pm me and let me know, im very interested in removing it.

The restrictor plate is a thin aluminum plate that fits between carburetor and the Intake manifold. This plate limits the amount of air that can enter the engine, less air equals less horsepower and slower, safer races. ...since 1998, usually found on the high horsepower vehicles run in NASCAR - also called "plate racing"

It makes the motor quieter above 75% throttle. Yank it out, the car gets a little bit louder. That's all.
