Is it possible to install an S2k antenna if I have an automatic antenna?

I don't think so. Maybe go to a wreckers and see if you can pull the assembly from a trashed GT. Replace it and then you're in business.

no...well at least it's not 'plug and play'. you'll have to change the powered assembly to the regular assembly (since the powered antenna has no screw treads)

Well, my sister has a 2000 GT with the regular antenna. I can swap mines with hers, but would that be worth the trouble? And would the reception be the same?

well i went from a regular antenna to a motorized one.. i don't see why you couldn't do the reverse  but i'm not sure how the oem motorized antenna looks like..the motor.. but i'm sure its possible just takes time
