who here got a ticket for thier 20% tint in the front windows, in california?
do cops usually give tickets to cars with dark tints?

hey celica 05, i see that you have 35 up front and 20 in the back. can you see good at night? yea i have no problem seeing outside my windows at nite. Imo its the best percent tint.

no tickets yet for my 5% in Cali...but I never drive with my windows up unless I'm "testing" my car or "tuning" ... 
I get my kicks on EC.

i had 35% on mine and i got pulled over. I have a white celica so it looks a lot darker than tint on darker colors.

A friend of mine got pulled over for having his tints too dark...and he had 35%. It pretty much depends on the cop. The funny thing is he got pulled over at 11:30 at NIGHT. If a cop is biased against 'ricers' or anything of the like...they'll pull you over and try to find something illegal...blue bulbs, tint, exhaust..anything

I just got 5% back, 15% on the sides. Drive with all windows up and haven't been rolled. Police look, but just keep going. You can't see it from the picture below, but i'll update my sig soon.
You can also get ticketed for not driving without a front liscense plate, but a lot of ppl do that and I don't see them getting tickets. If you have car mods like exhausts that are loud, expect to get a ticket for something.

CA has some bitch cops. Here's state laws for tint: http://www.tintdude.com/laws.htmlI'm in AZ and have 5% limo tint on front sides/rear sides and back. It's harder then hell to see - but you get used to it. I've been pulled over 2x but never ticketed or even mentioned the tint.
