i was letting a friend take a look at my Carbon Fiber invader hood and when he went to shut it (i couldnt stop him in time  ), he shut it wrong and now there is a hairline crack in the clear coat right where the latch is!  and sugestions on how to fix it... i was thinking wet sand it, then have a few layers of clear coat put on it.

He cracked it because he let the hood fall like how you close a OEM hood. You know how your used to just letting the hood SLAM shut. But on Carbon Fiber hoods your suppose to push clost it gently because its so light and fragile... If I were you I would make homeboy pay for the damages man. Its his fault

Sand it smooth thick clear coat over, add a pearl, or paint it.
