How long does it usually take for an unexperience person like me to replace the lift bolts?? My car is a 2000 w/ 35,000mileage on it so I need to change it fast grin My lift bolts isn't broken or anything. Thanx and please hit me up with some tips...oh, is the lift bolt hand tight???

anyone know the specs for torquing the valve cover down? plus i remember someone posting the importance of carefully removing and installing the new liftbolts. how tight should they be?

should only take you 1-1 1/2 hr..that's it..that's how long it took me to did mine the first time..and that was at 30 some k..now it's 36k..just turn it slowly with lil force..Turn Left to loosen and Right to tighten..

mine bolt was kindna tight when I loosen it so I tight it down like it thumbsup take me about an 1 and half

Yea the newer style were redesigned to last longer or somethin like that. Last I heard you were supposed ot change them every 15k or so to be safe?

The 6 and 7 bolts was a bitch and take the longest. thumbsdown thumbsdown otherwise it's easy. Just make sure everything line up right when you put it back or else oil will leak thumbsdown
